Rainfall is designed to play rain without knowing anything about you.

Who this policy covers

This policy explains how the Rainfall iPhone app is operated by Sky Foundry Pty Ltd (ABN 69 626 229 338), and how information is handled when you use it.

Data the app collects

Rainfall does not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share personal data. The app has no account, advertising, analytics, tracking technology, crash-reporting service, or third-party telemetry.

On-device operation

Rain audio, visual effects, playback controls, intensity, and the sleep timer operate on your device. Rainfall does not require an internet connection for its core features. Temporary playback and timer state is used only while the app is running and is not sent to Sky Foundry.

Permissions

Rainfall does not request access to your location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, health information, or advertising identifier.

Third-party software and Apple services

Rainfall includes software libraries used to render the interface and play audio. They operate locally for Rainfall’s features and are not configured to collect app-user data. Apple may independently process App Store downloads, diagnostics, and related information under Apple’s privacy policy and your Apple settings. Sky Foundry is not responsible for data Apple collects independently.

Privacy, support, and attribution pages

If you choose to open Rainfall’s information pages, your browser connects to the Sky Foundry website. These Rainfall pages do not contain advertising, cookies, Google Tag Manager, or analytics scripts. The hosting and network providers needed to deliver a page may process limited technical request information, such as an IP address and browser details, for delivery, reliability, and security. Links to external attribution sources are governed by those sites’ own privacy policies.

Support email

If you email Rainfall support, Sky Foundry receives the address and information you choose to include. It is used only to respond to and resolve your request, is not sold or used for advertising, and is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for support and record-keeping obligations. You may request deletion of a support email by contacting us, subject to any legal requirement to retain it.

Children

Rainfall does not knowingly collect personal information from children or anyone else through the app.

Retention, deletion, and consent

Because Rainfall does not collect personal data through the app, Sky Foundry has no app-user profile or app data to retain, provide, or delete, and no data-collection consent to withdraw. Removing Rainfall deletes its local app data from your device. For information you voluntarily send by email, you may request access, correction, or deletion using the contact details below.

Changes to this policy

If Rainfall’s data practices change, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before the changed version is released. The effective date at the top will show when this policy was last updated.
